The Fish Hoek valley boasts a diverse array of societies, associations and sports clubs including the prestigious Clovelly Country Club which offers golf, tennis and bowls. Hobie Cat rides and kayaking facilities are available on the beach. "Surfer's Corner" offers right hand breaks for surfers.

Ecotourism and Nature

Aside from the world class beach, Fish Hoek has excellent walks and is rich in fynbos flora. The walk to the top of Elsies peak to gain an unparalleled view of False Bay is highly recommended. Moonrise and sunrise on Fish Hoek beach is simply breathtaking. The perimeter of the bay offers excellent land-based whale watching opportunities, particularly in September and October, when whale sightings peak. To see these majestic, gentle creatures of the ocean from just a few meters away is truly awesome. One cannot help but be touched by the grace and playful nature of these leviathans. The Silvermine River Wetlands is the home of the endangered Le0pard Toad which emerges annually in August to breed. This is also an excellent destination for Bird Watching, within excess of fifty species having been already spotted.

Inhoff Farm Village

Five Camels live and work permanently and roam  freely on the beautiful Old Cape Farmstead. Other attractions there include a Snake and Reptile park and a Touch Farm where  little ones can feed the animals.  There is a mouth watering Traditional Cape Restaurant, Farm Stall, Coffee shop, cheese making, art and craft shops.

Blokarting

Whether for fun, adrenalin rush when sailing a Blokart is such a big Buzz. One of the most interactive adrenalin sports on the planet either on land or on the beach.  Lessons given will have you up and about in less than half and hour.

Horseriding

Beach Trails. Discover the thrill of riding on 8 kilometres of unspoilt beach. Look out for Whales and Dolphins.
Pass through wetlands that teem with  bird life and Fynbos. Fish Hoek/False Bay is a fantastic Whale and Dolphin location offering abundant sightings.

Kayaking

Sample first taste of Sea Kayaking. 2 x persons in Kayaks. Cruise the coastline and see African Penguins and seals in one of the most unique places in the world.In Winter (Whale season) view whales from Kayaks. A Penguin Colony in Suburban Cape Town. Stroll on the Boardwalk
Viewing Platforms or visit the public beach and swim with the penguins. In winter (Whale season) view whales from Kayaks. On windy days Kayak Surfing Trips on the sea - White Water Rafting in the ocean.

Ostrich Farm

Approx fifteen minutes drive from us is the  Cape Point Ostrich Farm. This is a productive breeding Farm situated on 65 ha. Being a breeding farm everything is done for the Ostrichs comfort. They roam around wide open spaced camps to ensure plenty of eggs to incubate. There is a shop on site selling Ostrich Eggs and exquisite Ostrich leather products. For the hungry there is the Osto-Rante restaurant. Ostrich meat has less fat than fish and almost no cholesterol. Guided Tours are also available where one can learn from the hatching stage up to the breeding stage.
